Ha Long Bay is present in the Gulf of Tonkin which includes more than 1600 islands in Vietnam. This place has been formed as a spectacular seascape with limestone pillars. Its natural beauty is unaffected by human presence. Ha Long Bay has been spread over 43,400 ha and present around 165 km away from the capital of Ha Noi. The whole landscape has been developed during the warm and wet tropical climate. Its beautiful scenery turned into the greatest biological interest in Vietnam. In 1962, Ha Long Bay was established as the historical and cultural relict of Vietnam as the National Landscape site.
